Just click on TheAuthorsShow.com and go to the non-fiction page and you can hear the 15 minute interview any time during the 48 hour two day period. The book tells the story of a 22 year old schoolteacher who was the only woman involved int the 1927 Dole Air Race from Oakland to Honolulu. She was a media star, and when her plane was mysteriously lost, many vowed never to forget her. However, her story has been largely forgotten. The book brings that tale back to life.
