Guest humanities professors from UNC-Asheville and Appalachian State will lead the 6 p.m. discussions, which begin Tues., Oct. 22 and continue every other Tuesday evening through Dec. 17.
Registration and book borrowing
This book discussion series is free and open to the public, but registration is required and a limited number of books are available. Participants may register and pick up their books at the Pack Memorial Library readers assistance desk two weeks prior to each session, although the first novel is available for pickup beginning October 1. The library will loan the books at no charge. Please call 250-4717 or email: email@example.com for further information.

December 3: The Space Merchants by Frederick Pohl and C.M. Kornbluth. Guest Speaker: Leon Lewis
December 17: Greenhouse Summer by Norman Spinrad. Guest Speaker: Peg Downes.
