My pictorial history book is to be submitted by e-mail to an on-line book publisher.
Adobe CS4 Indesign and Adobe Acrobat Pro were used to create my page layouts. Can anyone offer tips on a standard and an approved method to assemble and package 129 PDF pages?
When are the photo links to placed embedded within the PDF of the Indesign page?
Perhaps these links should be in a separate package and US mailed on a CD. If these files are embedded in the e-mail pages, the files would be too large to send.
And what about the alphabet? I have embedded the Ariel fonts for the copy within each Indesign page and then created it into a PDF. Should the Ariel alphabet & Ariel Narrow alphabet also be packaged for printer's revision of story errors?
Has anyone experienced sending large-file PHOTO stories to online publishers?
I would love to hear from you. Thanks a bunch. from Margaret
