Opening Day, the second in the Matt Davis Mystery Series by local author Joe Perrone Jr, was recently awarded an Indie B.R.A.G. Medallion for excellence in self-published books.

BragMedallion.com was formed to recognize and identify outstanding self-published books, and to help readers make selecting from the growing number of "Indies" a more reliable process.  It is akin to the old reliable "Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval."

The first and third books in the series are As The Twig Is Bent and Twice Bitten. As The Twig is Bent was recently translated into Portuguese, and plans are underway to translate the other books in the series in the near future.  Mr. Perrone is currently writing the fourth in the series, Broken Promises, which will be published in early 2013.  All four of the Matt Davis Series books are available on Amazon.com in paperback and Kindle editions.
