RE-VIEWING BLACK MOUNTAIN COLLEGE 3: 3rd ANNUAL CONFERENCE Theme: John Cage's Circle of Influence
The Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center presents “ReVIEWING Black Mountain College 3,” October 7 – 9 at various locations. This year, the gathering of scholars, performers, and artists celebrates John Cage, avant-garde composer and Black Mountain College teacher, 1948-52.
Laura Kuhn, Executive Director of the John Cage Trust, gives the keynote address 5 p.m., Sat., Oct. 8 at UNCA. Activities also include a 90- minute MusiCircus all over town and a Friday night performance at the Grey Eagle.
