Mary A. Berger Debuts Second Novel – A Trip to the Water’s Edge
In this sequel to her equally comical first novel, The Trouble with Mattie, author Mary A. Berger offers more mystery and adventure involving her lead character Mattie Mitchell.
In A Trip to the Water’s Edge (ISBN-13: 978-1461120742), Mattie and her best friend Clare witness a murder and hunt down clues to a possible food poisoning. Add fun with an aerobics class, pottery, and a laughable attempt of the ladies attempting to “cook from a real recipe.”
Fans of Mattie can follow her exploits on her blog, Mattie's Mysteries.
A native of Michigan, where she earned her arts degree, Mary A. Berger currently resides in Hendersonville, NC, and is an author whose writing has appeared in the Saturday Evening Post, Lady’s Circle, and Today’s Family, as well as in various small press publications and her local newspaper, the Times News.
She currently occupies her time with the Friends of Henderson County Public Library, The Michigan Club, her homeowners association, her pottery, and her church. Married fifty-two years, Mary has two daughters, four grandchildren, and two “greats.” She plans to write more adventures for Mattie.
