I’ll be back in the classroom beginning May 14 for a series of workshops on Technology for Writers, which I’m offering on behalf of the Atlanta Writers Club.
The first workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of file management. We’ll cover file names, folder structure, revisions, archiving and organization under the umbrella theme “If You Can’t Find It, You Don’t Own It.”
Future sessions will cover the writer’s bookshelf (a guide to reference and source materials), software (dedicated writing software and the best choices for just, you know, putting words on a page) and the basics of digital technology (bitmaps vs. vectors, font choices, understanding publication guidelines, and image handling).
The classes are free to members of the Atlanta Writers Club. Non-members pay $25 per class.
The class will be held at BookLogix in Alpharetta. For more information, or to arrange a workshop in your area, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.
