Comment by Glenda Council Beall on March 25, 2012 at 6:51pm Newton's book made laugh out loud and feel a tinge of melancholy as well. I'm a native of south Georgia and he could have been writing about my brothers when they were young boys. I recommend his book of memoir to anyone who can relate to rural living in the south back in the forties and fifties.
