What I'm reading now ...

What I'm reading now (actually what I just finished).



Just Passin’ Thru by Winton Porter (Menasha Press).

Since 2001, Winton has owned Mountain Crossings,

a combination hostel and outfitter shop on the Appalachian Trail

at the bottom of Blood Mountain in North Georgia.

For every thru-hiker who makes it as far as Mountain Crossings,

there is a story. An amusing book.

Malaprop's hosts regional authors in December

I'm grateful to all of you for the support you've offered me and my two hiking guides; the most recent is Hiking North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Heritage
