careful who you pay big bucks to Edit your manuscript!

I used a highly recommended woman in Flat Rock. she doubled my fee, offered no contract, and this newbie asked for none. then, she dumbed down the book, email for details.

Tyler,

The writer's group meets Wednesday afternoons, 2-4 pm at the Barnes & Noble store in the Asheville Mall (Tunnel Rd.). We're upstairs at one of the library tables next to the storefront windows. The group is open, so feel free to drop by. Haven't heard whether we're meeting today or being snowed out, so you may want to shoot for next week.

We begin by discussing a published short story distributed by email the previous Friday. If you're interested in getting on the distribution list, please give me your regular email address and I'll pass it on to Ray Russell. The remainder of the time is spent in peer critique of each other's stuff.
