Reading Preference:
I like to read a variety of books. I try to balance my reading by reading a nonfiction book for every fiction one I read. I am also a freelance writer. I have several articles due for publication in Backhome Magazine in 2011. I am currently working on a novel and a nonfiction book on Dexter cattle. My main occupation is running and working on our farm in rural Haywood County where we raise pastured poultry, registered Dexter cattle, pastured pork, shitake mushrooms, ect. I have a blog on the GRIT Magazine website about our farm business and our adventures building our own house. I am considering writing a book about building your own home.
