To Glory, who wanted to know more about me, Ethelene Dyer Jones
I enjoy writing poetry. I also am a regular weekly columnist for The News Observer, Blue Ridge, GA and The Union Sentinel, Blairsville, GA. I have a book of poems published, co-authored with my son, also a writer, the Rev. Elton Keith Jones. The title of our book is "Mother and Child Reunion." I was born in Union County, GA, Blairsville, and lived for many years near Blue Ridge, GA (a little town called Epworth). We moved to Milledgeville, GA in Middle GA in February, 2003 because of my husband's illness. I have two grown, happily married children, seven grandchildren, and, to date, five great grandchildren! Life has been good!
