Thanks for your comments. I do not know if Cornelia and William Henry were divorced in 1887, but I have not found any documentation of it so far. I will check the records in Raleigh. But I did see a deed dated 1892 that listed Wm. L. Henry and wife, and William's obituary in 1900 stated he was survived by his wife and seven sons and two daughters. Here is a photo of Wm. and Cornelia together in later years in the same pose as their wedding photo. I don't know the year it was taken, but they appear much older. So there is some evidence of no divorce.
