Gigi Amateau, author of Come August, Come Freedom will talk about writing a historical novel, using primary sources, and research. This novel centers on a planned slave revolt in the late 1700's. Tickets are $5 and act as a coupon the night of the event. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and space is limited.
