Event Description

The Jackson County Library and City Lights Bookstore are excited to announce Ron Rash will read from his new novel, The Cove on Sunday, April 15th at 2 p.m. “Set in the Mars Hill area during the final months of WWI, The Cove reveals the cruel nature of humans to ostracize the misunderstood and dehumanize cultures viewed as enemies. Like all of his work it is beautifully written but it is these themes that, for me, set it above his other novels, ”  says City Lights Publicist, Eon Alden.  The Jackson County Public Library is a co-sponsor and will host the event.  To reserve a copy please call City Lights Bookstore at 828-586-9499.
