Event Description

  • Appalachian State University's Hughlene Bostian Frank Visiting Writers Series presents Rachel Rivers-Coffey Distinguished Professor of Creative Writing Poet Susan Ludvigson  (Author of Everything Winged Must Be Dreaming; Sweet Confluence: New and Selected Poems). She will read at 7:30 p.m. in the Table Rock Room of the Plemmons Student Union. The public is invited to a drop-in Pre-Reading Reception from 6-7:15 p.m. in the adjoining Price Lake Room.  The author will also give the Craft Talk "Issues of Voice" from 3:30-4:45 in the Table Rock Room.  Book sales and signing will follow both events. Parking is free on campus after 5 p.m.
