Historical novelist Jeff Shaara helped Charlotte, NC, celebrate the anniversary of the signing of Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence back on May 20, 1775. Event Description

Dress up and pretend you can be anything you imagine after hearing author Shirley Parkin read from Pretending. Did You? is written by fifth-grade teacher, Amy Tiller. Lesson plans can be drawn from every page in her book. These two book signing events are for eight-year-olds and younger. However, any age is welcome.
