Event Description

Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe has been a welcoming home to poets and poetry since its founding in 1982. Join us for a very special 30th Anniversary Malaprop's event and a celebration of poetry, with the book launch of Remember Me as a Time of Day. An anthology of poems written by the Women on Words poetry group that has been meeting at Malaprop's for many years, Remember Me as a Time of Day was compiled by Emoke B'Racz, poet, translator, and founder of Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe. She will be joined by poets Alicia Valbuena, Barbara Gravelle, Eileen Walkenstein, Genie Joiner, Maryann Jennings, Nancy Sanders, Patricia Harvey, Sena Rippel, Virginia Haynes Redfield, and Zoe Durga Harber for a reading, signing and book release celebration. This event is free and open to the public.
