Event Description

North Carolina author Michael Parker will be here to discuss his new novel, The Watery Part of the World. A Professor in the MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro, Parker has received both the Hobson Award for Arts and Letters and the North Carolina Award for Literature. Colum McCann, author of Let the Great World Spin, says of The Watery Part of the World, “There’s a big-hearted fearlessness in Michael Parker’s work that, quite honestly, I envy.”
