Event Description

Hear authors Dorothy Foltz-Gray (With and Without Her: A Memoir of Being and Losing A Twin) and Georganne Spruce (Awakening to the Dance: A Journey to Wholeness) present and sign their books. Folz-Gray tells a story of identity and individuation, confusion and competition, intimacy and separation, violence and the murder of her twin sister. Most of all, hers is the story we all face, of loss and survival. Georganne Spruce, a professional dancer and teacher, tells her own story of loss and the subsequent search for an authentic identity, creative expression, and a meaningful spiritual life as she learned to give up what no longer served her. This event is free & open to all.
