Hike leader and author, Danny Bernstein will visit City Lights Bookstore to talk about the Mountain-to-Sea Trail and present her book, The Mountain-to-Sea Trail Across North Carolina: Walking a Thousand Miles Through Wilderness, Culture and History.  Her discussion and slide show presentation will be at City Lights Bookstore on Friday, March 29th at 6:30 p.m.  Bernstein’s book is a historical look at the natural and cultural aspects of the 1,000 mile trail that stretches from Clingman’s Dome to Jockey’s Ridge in the Outer Banks.  Bernstein has also written Hiking North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Hiking the Carolina Mountains and Hiking North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Heritage.  To reserve a copy of her new book please call City Lights Bookstore at 828-586-9499
