JHATOR was chosen as the summer read for the book club at the United Church of Christ in Norwell, MA.  Today, the Rev. Event Description

The Coffee with the Poet series continues on Thursday, November 15th at 10:30 a.m. as WNC resident Rose McLarney presents her collection, The Always Broken Plates of Mountains. “Set in Appalachia,  McLarney’s poetry focuses on the mountain landscape and those living on it.  There is a reverence of the landscape and an honesty for the people, those living and those long gone, that draws one quickly to this collection,” says City Lights publicist, Eon Alden

The Coffee with the Poet series is co-sponsored by the NetWest chapter of the North Carolia Writer’s Network and gathers every third Thursday of each month.
