Pitchapalooza is the American Idol for books!  Twenty writers will be selected at random to pitch their books.  Each writer will have one minute to deliver a pitch at this event designed by Arielle Eckstut and David Henry Sterry, co-founders of The Book Doctors, a company dedicated to helping authors get their books published, and co-authors of The Essential Guide to Getting Your Book Published: How To Write It, Sell It, and Market It Successfully.  For information on signing up to pitch your book, and on the judges, judging guidelines, and the Pitchapalooza prize, see www.malaprops.com.  For those who choose not to pitch a book, the event is free and open to the public, and it promises to be both fun and educational!
