Presented in the Reader Theatre style, the two performances of this important play will feature a cast of well-known local actors drawn from the Asheville theatre scene and students from AB Tech. Both performances will be held on the campus of AB Tech in the Thomas W. Simpson Lecture Hall, sponsored by Western NC Historical Association. Beneath Shelton Laurel, by playwright Sean O'Leary is based on an actual Civil War era massacre of civilians by the Confederate army. Tickets for the performances are $10.00 per person. Students $5.
