Event Description

Local author, Mary A. Berger, will be conducting a book signing of her second novel, A Trip to the Water's Edge, on Saturday, October 22, 2011, from 12:30 to 2:00, at Joy of Books, located at 242 Main Street, Hendersonville, next to Tempo Music.

In this sequel to her equally comical first novel, The Trouble with Mattie, author Mary A. Berger offers more mystery and adventure involving her lead character Mattie Mitchell.

In A Trip to the Water’s Edge, Mattie and her best friend Clare witness a murder and hunt down clues to a possible food poisoning. Throw in some fun with an aerobics class, pottery, and a laughable attempt of the ladies attempting to “cook from a real recipe,” and you have all the makings of another page-turning adventure.

Fans of Mattie can follow her exploits on her blog at mattiesmysteries.blogspot.com.
