Talented author Gin Phillips will present her novel, The Well and the Mine, the story of two sisters in a small Alabama coal-mining town whose investigation into an act of surprising violence unearths powerful family secrets. A graduate of Birmingham-Southern College, Phillips is widely praised for the depth and development of her vivid characters.
