Event Description
Darnell Arnoult's debut poetry collection What Travels With Us (L.S.U Press), was named 2006 SIBA Poetry Book of the Year and won the 2005 Weatherford Award in Appalachian Literature. Her novel, Sufficient Grace (Free Press), was a selection for the Book Sense annual book club list, a 2007 SIBA Fiction Book of the Year nominee, and a 2006 Weatherford Award nominee. Arnoult was named Tennessee Writer of the Year by the Tennessee Writers Alliance in 2007, and in 2009 received the Mary Frances Hobson Medal in Arts and Letters from Chowan University.
