AMY GREENE READING & SIGNING
Smoky Mountain native Amy Greene returns to Malaprop’s with her second novel, Long Man. Based on historical events, Long Man refers to the river in Tennessee whose dam will flood a small town in the name of electricity and jobs. Jill McCorkle (Life After Life) says: “Exquisite . . . Greene’s prose is as mesmerizing as the story she weaves. Readers will never forget this vividly drawn landscape, the journeys of those who hold tight to this remarkable place in America even as it disappears before their eyes. Long Man is a novel about redemption and resurrection and love in all its forms. Its breathtaking suspense and images will haunt me forever.” Greene is also the author of the novel Bloodroot.
